Novel ‚Journey into Disaster‘

By Konstantin von Weberg

  • Independent author of self-published books.

Introduction

Many Filipinos literally impose their children on the foreigner. This stems from cultural and social circumstances. In the country of 7200 islands, there is often abject poverty, especially in the rural regions. The parents, or rather the families, do not have the financial means to buy school uniforms or school materials, for example, and to provide their children with sufficient care.

Rich foreigners are very welcome as sponsors and this, of course, gives pedophile sex tourism a good boost, even if the penalties for sexual abuse and human trafficking are Draconian.

  • Child abuse (R.A. 7610) ¹) = 12-15 years imprisonment and a fine.
  • Human trafficking (R.A. 9208) = life imprisonment (Reclusión Perpetua) = 20-40 years imprisonment and a fine.

Human trafficking exists when a foreigner extends an invitation to children under the age of 12 without their family members to a beach resort or even transports them to their hotel room, house, or apartment.

There is a population explosion in the Philippines. In 2000, there were still approximately 80 million inhabitants, but today (2024) there are over 120 million Filipinos.

The Factual Novel ‚Journey into Disaster‘

This novel (thriller) is based on true events. The shocking stories that the author Konstantin von Weberg used as the basis for this novel moved him to write this book. The police prison conditions are described in a brutally honest manner, and a dilapidated and corrupt judicial system is shown, in which only those who can afford a private lawyer are winners.

The novel is also about the clash of cultures, about emotional ups and downs, but also about great friendships between the foreigner and the Filipinos. The novel talks about solidarity, help for the stranded person and optimism. His family in Germany and his friends and work colleagues are also convinced of the innocence of the German, who plays the involuntary leading role in these novels, and stand by him without ifs and buts.

Look forward to a deep insight into an Asian world that is completely unknown to us. Get ready for a sweaty fight for justice under a tropical-hot sky in the Journey into Disaster.

This book can also be seen as an urgent warning to a certain group of people.

A book that was developed completely without artificial intelligence (AI).

Warning! Never do this in the Philippines as a tourist!

You can expect an extremely realistic and suspenseful thriller.
